Pardue, a catcher/designated hitter from Johnson City, Tenn., was a first-team selection. He hit .345 for the Highlanders with eight home runs and 51 RBI. He was a Big South all-conference selection for two straight seasons.
The only player from Virginia on the Division I first team, Pardue had a 4.0 grade point average in two of his final four semesters at Radford and had a cumulative GPA of 3.56. He graduated in May with a major in physical science and plans to be a high school teacher and coach.
Outfielders Kevin Gibbs of and Mike Ruberti of Old Dominion made the second team for the second year in a row.

Brenda Davis has been named as the assistant women's basketball and volleyball coach at Washington and Lee.
Davis, a May graduate of Guilford College, was the Old Dominion Athletic Conference player of the year in basketball in 1993 and 1994 and a Kodak All-America honorable mention selection from 1992-94. She is the schools all-time scoring leader (1,803 points) and rebounder (1,040).
In volleyball, she led the Quakers to a 112-22 record and two ODAC titles in her career. She was ODAC player of the year last season and led Guilford to its first NCAA appearance.
Davis, a native of Orlando, Fla., will begin work at W&L in August and will work with head coach Terri Dadio in both sports.
