Because of a reporter's error, Rep. Bob Goodlatte's position during the recent contest for the Republican nomination for the U.S. Senate was misstated in a story Tuesday. Goodlatte was neutral in the campaign between Oliver North and Jim Miller. After the nomination was settled, he endorsed North.
