WOMAN CHARGED WITH

RADFORD - A Radford woman has been charged with stabbing her husband Tuesday night.

City police said Rita Dawn Vicars, 35, was charged with maliciously wounding Warren Harding Vicars Jr. by stabbing him in the left side.

Police were called to Lot 20 of Rustic Village trailer park off Staples Street for a domestic dispute just before 10 p.m. Vicars, 41, was admitted to Radford Community Hospital, where a spokeswoman said he was in good condition Wednesday.

Rita Vicars was released on bond and will be arraigned next week. A preliminary hearing is set for July 20 in Radford General District Court.|
