NEW LIBRARY SYSTEM

The Radford Public Library has acquired a new, high-tech reference system on a trial basis. The computerized system, Magazine ASAP Select 1 on InfoTrac, lets patrons search specific topics in more than 200 magazines and the last to months of the New York Times.

The system also can retrieve and print the full text of articles from more than 50 publications.

A decision on whether to keep the ystem will be based on public usage.
