Bradley received the extension shortly after he interviewed for the head coach's job at Old Dominion in the spring. ODU hired former North Carolina A&T coach Jeff Capel to replace Oliver Purnell, also a former Radford coach.
"It's nice to have a couple of years of security," said Bradley, who has a 55-33 record at Radford. "It's nothing I was overly concerned with."
Terms of the contract call for Bradley to be paid $65,000 annually.
Bradley, who began the past season in the final year of a three-year deal, was given a one-year extension during the season.
Radford women's coach Lubomyr Lichonczak, who guided the Highlanders to the NCAA women's tournament last season, also received an extension through 1996. Lichonczak came to Radford in 1990 after working as an assistant at Texas A&M, where he is currently a candidate for the head coaching job. He will make $45,000 a year at Radford.
