A MESSY RACE DAY AT POCONO

A thick eastern Pennsylvania mountain fog finally lifted from Pocono International Raceway on Sunday afternoon, revealing another chapter of the Rusty Wallace show - complete with a messy, melodramatic ending

Wallace was running away with the UAW-GM 500 until a yellow flag with six laps to go threw the field into disarray. It led to the most scrambled and confusing final lap in recent Winsotn Cup racing. And it took NASCAR officials more than two hours to come up with an official order of finish.
