BROOKMAN, Lena V. Dishner, 71, of 201 Old Pisgah Road, Princeton, W. Va., died Sunday, June 12, 1994 at a Princeton Hospital. Born at Princeton, she was the daughter of the late John Harrison and Bertha Lee Pritchett Dishner. She was a graduate of Princeton High School. She was a retired employee for the Hoechst-Celanese Celco Plant at Narrows, Va., with more than 36 years of service. She was a charter member of the Burke Memorial Baptist Church on Thorn Street in Princeton. She was a very active member of the Pisgah Home Demonstration Club, where she was serving as Secretary. She was a member of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Princeton and a member of the Mercer County Commission on Aging and had just been named the outstanding Volunteer and was featured in the quarterly Magazine. She had been a lifelong resident of Princeton and was preceded in death by two brothers, George Poss Dishner and Ira Dishner. Survivors include two sons, Mr. Rodney R. Runion, Mr. Charles W. Brookman Jr., both of Princeton, W. Va.; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Hood, Sumerduck, Va.; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Cooper, Princeton, W. Va., Mrs. Louella Belcher, Huntington Town, Md., Mrs. Eula White, Edenburg, Va.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. There will be no visitation. The body has been cremated. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton, with the Rev. Charles Harris officiating. CARTER, Mary Ann Lee, 63, of Roanoke, passed away Friday, June 10, 1994. She was born in Marion, Va. on September 25, 1931 to the late Frank and Sadie Hoskins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitfield Carter, and her son, Martin G. Lee. Survivors include two sisters, S. M. Hoskins, New Brittain, Conn., Dorothy Bryant, Brooklyn, N. Y.; two stepdaughters, Evie Jones and Verda Lee Ingram, both of Columbus, Ohio; three stepsons, Larry (Peter) Carter and Rodric (Buzz) Carter, both of Tacoma, Wash., Edmond Carter, Killen, Texas; devoted friends, Katie, Ruth and Frances; devoted nephews, Tom and Charlie; many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. HUANG, Amy Y. 42, of Salem, died Monday, June 13, 1994, in a Williamsburg hospital. She was born in Taiwan, and had resided in Salem since 1979. She was a faithful Christian and dedicated mother. In 1975, she married her husband, Rex H. Haung, who survives her, along with their children, a son, Alfie T. Haung; two daughters, Marilyn S. Haung and Laura Y. Haung, all of Salem; a brother, Chi-hong Chiang of Taiwan. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 15, 1994, at 3 p.m. at the John M. Oakey and Son Chapel in Salem with the Rev. R. LONG, Marcus H., 73, of Blacksburg, passed away Monday, June 13, 1994 at his home. He was born in Radford, Va. on June 1, 1921. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Long, and a brother, Richard Long. Marcus attended the University of Virginia and was graduated from the T. C. Williams School of Law, University of Richmond, Richmond, Va. in 1950, and received his LL.B. and later received his J.D. He was president of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity while at the University of Richmond. He passed the Virginia State Bar in 1949, and has practiced law in Blacksburg since 1951. He served as Associate Judge of the General District Court of Montgomery County. He was Attorney for the Town of Blacksburg for 16 years, from 1957 until 1973. Mr. Long served as Attorney for the Blacksburg-VPI Sanitation Authority and was instrumental in forming the Blacksburg-VPI Water Authority. He served as President of the Blacksburg Chamber of Commerce in 1959 and President of the Montgomery-Radford-Floyd Bar Association 1965-66. He has been an active member of the Christiansburg/Blacksburg Rotary Club since 1956 and a Paul Harris Fellow. Mr. Long served on the board of Dominion Bank (formerly the Farmers & Merchants Bank of Blacksburg) since 1953. He served his country during World War II in the United States Air Force. Marcus was a member of the Blacksburg United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Omega Turner Long; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marcus H. Long Jr. and Elizabeth, Blacksburg, Byron A. Long and Julianne, Richmond; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan L. Robinson and Jack, Greenville, Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Jordan Elizabeth and Brennan Long, and William and John Robinson; a brother, Lawrence Long, Radford; two sisters, Louise Long, Radford and Irma Barton, Dayton, Ohio. Funeral services will be held ll a.m. Thursday, June 16, 1994 at Blacksburg United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Herbert Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Cemetery. MASKE, Jesse Monroe, 81, of Salem, died Sunday, June 12, 1994, in a Salem hospital. He was born December 16, 1912. He was captain of the Salem Rescue Squad for many years and was also a volunteer fireman. He coached little league football and baseball for several years. He umpired men's and women's softbal teams in Salem. He was employed by Burlington Mills in Salem for 19 years and worked for several glass companies until his retirement. Mr. Maske was also a security guard at Ridgecrest Retirement Center. After retirement, he operated a produce business in Salem. He was preceded in death by a son, Steve Allen Maske; a daughter, Lin da Graham. He is survived by his wife, Christine Wiley Maske; a son and daughter-in-law, Jesse Nolan and Ellene Maske, Denton, N.C.; a brother, Charlie Maske, Houston, Texas; five grandchildren, Randy Graham, Gayle Graham, Michael Graham, Ricky Graham, Holly Maske; one great-granddaughter, Jamie Graham; a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 15, at noon at the Lotz Salem Chapel with interment in Forest Grove Cemetery in Eagle Rock with the Rev. Jim Herron officiating.
