EX-JUDGE LONG DIES AT AGE 73

Marcus H. Long, a Blacksburg attorney and former judge, died Monday at his home. He was 73.

Long, a native of Radford, was a substitute judge of the General District Court of Montgomery County. He is survived by his wife, Omega Turner Long, two sons, a daughter and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Blacksburg United Methodist Church, followed by burial at Westview Cemetery.
