MARTINSVILLE TRUCKING FOUNDER ROY C. STONE DIES

Roy C. Stone, founder of the trucking industry in Martinsville and Henry County and one of the area's chief landowners and developers, has died. He was 88.

Stone died at his home Sunday of an apparent heart attack, family members said.
