It's a simple idea: putting a sign on the lawn or a banner in the window to
announce one's politics or the baby's arrival. But the city of Ladue, Mo., an
exclusive suburb of St. Louis, was concerned about appearances and said no
such rights allowed.
Monday, free speech prevailed.
