DISNEY PARK, TRACKS CALLED THREAT TO HISTORY

Development plans including the Walt Disney Co. theme park and a racetrack have pushed Virginia's Piedmont region onto a list of the nation's most endangered historic places.

The National Trust for Historic Preservation issued its list Tuesday of what it called America's 11 most endangered historic spots.
