TRACTOR AND HORSE PULL SATURDAY

An antique tractor and horse pull will take place Saturday starting at 9 a.m. in Cloverdale. It's a fund-raising event for a new Botetourt County Fair in the summer of 1995.

Two weight classes of horse pulling will be included, followed by eight weight classes of tractors. About 75 tractors built before 1950 will be involved. Participants must weigh in by 10 a.m.

Admission is $3 for adults, $5 for couples and free to children age 12 and under.

To reach the site, take exit 150A from I-81 and go south about two miles on U.S. 11. The field will be on the left.
