FOR THE RECORD

Because of a copy editor's error, a caption in Monday's Extra misidentified the breed of Vindicator, a champion Hackney pony at Bent Tree Farm in Shawsville.

\ "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead," was misattributed in Sunday's Travel section. The quote was from David Farragut, the first admiral of the United States Navy.

The name of the law firm of Wetherington & Melchionna has changed to Wetherington, Melchionna, Terry, Day & Ammar. In addition, Paul M. Black has become a shareholder in the firm. The firm's name was incorrectly identified with a photo of Black in Sunday's Business section. Also, an item with the photo said that he had joined the firm. Black joined the firm as an associate in 1991.
