FOR THE RECORD

Because incorrect information was given to the newspaper, the wrong name was given for an accident victim in a story in Wednesday's paper. The correct name is Rashaad Johnson, according to Jermaine V. Keeling, who was also involved in the accident.

\ A story in Tuesday's paper incorrectly stated the time frame for the environmental impact statement from the Jefferson National Forest on Appalachian Power Co.'s proposed transmission line. Originally it was due in February 1993.
