WOMAN REPORTS SHE WAS RAPED

A 20-year-old woman reported to police that she was restrained by three men and raped by one of them in her Northwest Roanoke apartment about 1:30 a.m. Friday.

Police were questioning three men - two from Vinton and one from Shawsville - but have made no arrests.

The woman told police she was at a Williamson Road tavern and accepted a ride home from a male acquaintance. Two other men were in the vehicle.

The three men went inside her apartment and removed her clothing. Two of the men held her down while one man raped and sodomized her, police said. She was treated at Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley.
