RUN AWAY WITH THE CIRCUS

Imagine a circus pulling into your neighborhood - a circus where your child can become the lion tamer, aerialist, tiger or strongman. That's what the Neighborhood Circus at the Salem Fair is like, and only imagination limits the role-playing.

It's a real, old-fashioned, dress-up circus, where even parents can run away and join the festivities.

During each performance, 20 to 25 children put on costumes right over their clothes and are magically transformed into performers for 30 minutes of fantasy.

The Salem Fair's Neighborhood Circus has its own wagon, costumes, a costume tent and three 25-minute performances.

The shows are scheduled to run Tuesday through Friday, 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.; and Saturday through Monday, 5 p.m., 7 p.m. and 9 p.m.

So come one, come all - and run away with the high wire act.
