CHRISTIANSBURG INSTITUTE REUNION

The Christiansburg Institute reunion gets under way Saturday with an annual picnic at the Best Western Red Lion Inn. Swimming starts at 1 p.m., and the serving line opens at 3 p.m.

Donations are $12 for adults and $6 for children 6-13. Youngsters five or younger will be admitted free.

Participants are asked to wear green and gold.

The reunion dance begins at 10 p.m. at Tom Terrific's, U.S. 11 between Christiansburg and Radford. A breakfast follows at 2 a.m.

Donation is $28, and dress is semi-formal.
