Anderson & Associates

BLACKSBURG - Anderson and Associates, an employee-owned engineering and surveying firm, has been selected for the fourth time for the open end, two-year contract with the Virginia Department of Tranportation for Utility Relocations. Other work recently awarded to the company includes jobs with CSX Transportation in Kentucky; the West Virginia Department of Transportation; and a roadway design and survey in Bristol, Tenn.

Although many of the jobs are out of state, the local economic impact is significant. According to marketing manager Karin Clark, the firm is committed to hiring local students and graduates.
