The Roanoke County Board of Equalization reduced the original assessment on developer Steve Strauss's Cotton Hill Road property by $120,000. A story Wednesday incorrectly said Strauss will pay $120,000 less in taxes.

Because of a reporter's error, a story about the U.S. Senate debate in some editions Wednesday incorrectly stated the name of Vincent Foster, the adviser to President Clinton who committed suicide last summer.
