Schwehr's paper, "Delay Integral Equations and Population Dynamics," was the result of an independent study course at Roanoke College directed by Roland Minton.
Schwehr is a mathematics and physics major at the college.
\ TONYA MICHELLE BROWN of Roanoke graduated with a bachelor of science degree from Greensboro College in North Carolina.
She also received the United African-American Society Award at the school's May Cap and Gown Ceremony.

Lisa Bennett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Freeland of Roanoke and a business administration major, was named to the dean's list.

\ MATTHEW CAMPBELL, son of Blair and Kate Campbell and a student at Roanoke Catholic School, has been named an All-American Scholar by the United States Achievement Academy. The program was designed to offer recognition to superior students who excel in the academic disciplines.
\ MICHAEL JOSEPH KOLNOK III , son of Michael J. Kolnok of Roanoke, received a $1,000 R. Robert Dale Scholarship from Moose International Inc. He will attend Randolph-Macon College in Ashland.
Kolnok is a 1994 graduate of Roanoke Catholic School.
\ REGINALD J. REYNOLDS and ANDRE G. SAUNDERS, both recent graduates of William Fleming High School, are winners of 1994 First Baptist Church/Alexander White scholarship awards.
The $500 scholarships, established by White's family in 1990 to commemorate his dedication to young people, are awarded to college-bound members of First Baptist Church, 310 N. Jefferson St.
White, who has no biological children, has been like a father to three generations of children.
Reynolds, the son of John and Shirley Reynolds, will attend Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Saunders, who plans to attend Ferrum College, is the son of Robert and Elizabeth Saunders, both members of the deacon board at the church.
