VINTON HOLDS JULY 4TH ACTIVITIES ON WAR MEMORIAL LAWN

The Town of Vinton will hold its Fourth of July Celebration at the War Memorial.

Activities will begin with a flag ceremony and program at 6 p.m. with participation by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4522.

Whitehorse, Neon Thunder and Stairwell will play a variety of top 40, country, oldies and variety music from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Puppets by PIZZAZZ will also give shows at 7 and 8 p.m. Dominion Fireworks of Petersburg will conclude the festivities with a fireworks display at 9:30 p.m.

Hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks will be sold throughout the night by the William Byrd Girls' Softball Team Booster Club.
