MASKED MAN ROBS RADFORDSTORE

A man wearing a mask and carrying a small handgun robbed a convenience store Thursday evening.

The Scottish Mart at 123 Norwood St. was robbed by a lone male at 9:18 p.m., according to a Radford police news release.

The man, wearing a black ski mask, pointed the gun at one of the two employees on duty, asked for money, then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of cash, according to the release.
