Jason Anderson pitched a complete-game one-hitter and struck out 17 in leading Roanoke Post 3 West to a 5-0 win over Post 3 South in an American Legion game on Friday night at Salem Municipal Field.

Anderson, who walked two, allowed a second-inning single but picked off the runner.

Eric East had two hits and Jay Stafford scored two runs for Roanoke West (4-3), which had seven hits and took advantage of eight walks. - Staff report
