SOUTH TAKES 2 FROM TRI-COUNTIES

Roanoke Post 3 South enjoyed a productive doubleheader Sunday against Tri-Counties Post 145, winning 17-7 and 11-4 in American Legion baseball at Municipal Field in Salem.

South's Kevin Davis had five hits and seven RBI in the two games; Mike McMahan added four hits and four RBI; and Josh Salmon contributed three doubles and three RBI.

South is 4-3; Tri-Counties is 1-6.
