BOLLING, John Henry, 81, of Montvale, died Monday, July 4, 1994, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. He is survived by one son, William N. Bolling, Bedford; one daughter, Mrs. Edna B. Davis, Forest; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Barbara Bolling, Bedford; one son-in-law, Johnnie C. Davis, Bedford; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy B. Henry, Arlington, Mrs. Frances B. Miller, Lynchburg, Miss Wilhelmiens Bolling, Bedford; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Ernestine Bolling, Roanoke; two nephews; one niece; a host of other relatives and friends; a devoted friend, Miss Ruth Williams, Braddock, Pa. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Western Light Baptist Church in Bedford Co. Officiating will be the Rev. James Johnson. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. BOWMAN, Nora Evans, 85, of Roanoke , passed away Wednesday, July 6,1994, at her home. She was the widow of Charles A. Bowman. Surviving are her daughter, Linda L. Bowman, of Roanoke; two grandchildren, Jerry Wayne Surface II, Key West, Florida, Charles Owen Surface of Roanoke, sister-in-law, Eva Creasy of Roanoke. DENNIS, Percy Vicars Jr., 73, of Grundy, passed away in Bristol Regional Medical Center, Wednesday July 6, 1994, following a brief illness. Born in Buchanan County he was a son of the late Percy V. Sr., and Maurene Moses Dennis. He was a life-long resident of Buchanan County and a member of Grundy United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Grundy High School, attended Emory and Henry College and the University of Virginia, and was a retired business man. He had served as Mayor for the Town of Grundy and was a former member of the Town Council. He was a former manager of Mingo Lime and Lumber Company and Bailey Lumber Company for several years. He was a member of Sandy Valley Lodge #17 AF & AM of Grundy and Kazim Temple of Roanoke, a member of John Ratliff Post #7360 of the American Legion, a member of Willowbrook Country Club and Glenrochie Country Club of Abingdon. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II. Mr. Dennis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jean Buchanan Dennis, Grundy; two sons, Fletcher B. Dennis, Salvisa, Ky., Michael L. Dennis, Richlands; one sister, Mrs. Doris Bruce, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Mackenzie L. Dennis, Andrew B. Dennis, Winston B. Dennis, Jonathan B. Dennis. Funeral services for Percy Vicars Dennis, Jr. will be conducted Friday, July 8, 1994, at 3 p.m. at the Grundy United Methodist Church, Grundy with the Rev. MOHLER, Richard E., 44, of Roanoke, died Sunday, July 3, 1994 following complications related to multiple sclerosis. He had been employed by Revco Drugs of Roanoke as a pharmacist for the past 19 years. Devoted husband, father and son, he is survived by his wife, Vali M. Mohler; two sons, Brau Alexander Mohler and Bret Nathaniel Mohler; also his parents, N. Evers Mohler Sr. and Edith Mae Mohler of Martinsburg, W.Va.; a brother, Nelson E. Mohler Jr., of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Frederick R. and Gerry C. Muccino of Cape Coral, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Vanessa M. Hurley and husband, Mark, Veronica M. Martin and husband, Tom; a brother-in-law, Frederick A. Muccino and wife, Marla; also nieces, Alana Hurley and Rachel Muccino; nephews, Rob Mohler and David Hurley, great-niece and nephew, Heather and Chris Mohler; and a special aunt, Libby Lutz. Richard graduated from Martinsburg High School. He received a BS in chemistry from Shepherd College in Shepherdstown, W.Va. and a BS degree from the University of Montana School of Pharmacy. He was past president of Phi Sigma Kappa and a member of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity. Richard enjoyed his amateur radio, home computer, special times with his sons, and planning surprise family trips. He was an active Cub Scout Leader serving as a Den Leader and Pack Leader of Pack 221. He was a volunteer in the computer lab at Penn Forest Elementary School. Richard was a charter member of the Southwestern Virginia Wireless Association, a HAM Radio Service Organization. He also shared his time at the Bradley Free Clinic Pharmacy. Richard was a member of Westhampton Christian Church, Disciples of Christ. He served as Elder, Deacon, Youth Sponsor, Sunday School Teacher, Coordinator of Lay Leaders, Vacation Bible School Teacher and participant in Christmas and Easter programs. In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent to Westhampton Christian Church Nature Camp for Children, Bradley Free Clinic and/or Multiple Sclerosis Society.
