A GOSPEL MUSIC CELEBRATION WITH EVELYN CONNER will be held Sunday at 7 p.m. at the Connelly Memorial Baptist Church, 3907 Hershberger Road N.W.

Conner has served as director of Appalachian Power Co.'s "Appalachan Chorus," and the "Young Musicians" choir at Connelly Memorial Baptist Church and as music director for the Daleville Church of the Brethren.

She also is director of "Rejoice," a women's ensemble, and interim Sanctuary Choir director at the Bethel Baptist Church in Salem.
