CAMPBELL, Jean Reynolds, 58, of Blacks burg, died Thursday, July 7, 1994 at her home. Mrs. Campbell was born in Chesterfield County on August 9, 1935, a daughter of the late Glover H. Reynolds and Margaret Jennings Reynolds. She was an active member of the Blacksburg Baptist Church, serving as chairwoman of the choir and president of the W.M.U. She was also president and honorary chairman of the Newcomers Club and president, secretary and treasurer of the Trillium Garden Club. Survivors include her husband, William D.``Bill"" Campbell; one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Michael Smyth, Danville; one son and daughter-in-law, William D. Jr. and Elaine Campbell, Roanoke; four grandchildren, Lauren Smyth, Logan Smyth, Benjamin Campbell and Jordan Campbell; four sisters, Ruth Barger, Judith Orcutt and Carol Norman, all of Richmond, Thelma Grant, Henderson, N. C.; five brothers, Robert E. Reynolds Sr., Thomas Q. Reynolds, Donald R. Reynolds, and William D. Reynolds, all of Richmond, John H. Reynolds, Baltimore, Md.; two aunts, Helen Andrews and Ruth Ivey; one uncle, Arthur Jennings; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m Sunday, July 10, 1994 at Blacksburg Baptist Church, with Dr. Ray Allen and the Rev. Don McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends Monday, July 11, at Joseph W. Bliley Funeral Home, 6900 Hull Street Road, Richmond, Va. from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, July 11, 1994 at Dale Memorial Park, Chesterfield, Va. JOHNSON, Robert Allen, 71, of Lexington, died Friday, July 8, 1994, in the Community Hospital, Roanoke. Mr. Johnson was born in Clifton Forge on August 29, 1922, a son of the late Walter Franklin and Maggie Louise McCreary Johnson. He was a member of the Timber Ridge Old Stone Presbyterian Church, Lexington, was retired from Burlington Industries with over 40 years of service, was a veteran of World War II, serving with the 82nd Airbourne Division in Europe. Surviving are his wife, Rebecca A. Johnson, Lexington; two sisters, Eva Mae Mays, Hague, Lois J. Naylor, Earlysville. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, July 10, 1994, at 3 p.m. from the graveside in the Timber Ridge A.R.P. Cemetery, Lexington, with Dr. Thomas G. Harvey and the Rev. D. Holmes Irving officiating. The family suggests memorial donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 2224 S. Jefferson St., Roanoke, Va. 24014. MCNEIL, Bobby L., of Locust Grove, Ga., passed away July 6, 1994. Mr. McNeil was born on October 21, 1932, in Roanoke, Va. While in Virginia he worked for Roanoke Redi Mix Concrete, Fuel Oil Equipment, and Blue Ridge Transfer. Mr. McNeil retired from Coca-Cola with 29 years of experience as a truck driver. He then became patrol officer with Locust Grove, McDonough, and Henry County Sheriff's Posse. Mr. McNeil was preceded in death by his father, Mr. Issac Newton McNeil, who operated I.N. McNeil Roofing and Sheet Metal in Roanoke. Mr. McNeil is survived by wife, Mrs. Rosie L. McNeil; children, Mr. Floyd Lee McNeil of Locust Grove, Mrs. Kathy Comb s of Locust Grove, Mrs. Anna Tuck of Hampton, Ga. and Mrs. Barbara Olinger of Locust Grove; mother, Mrs. Nettie McNeil; brothers, Mr. Rodney Ware McNeil, Mr. Kenneth Wayne McNeil, and Mr. Glen Dale McNeil all of Roanoke; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, from Philippi Baptist Church with remains placed in state at 1:30. The Rev. Joey Seabolt, Rev. Ken Godfrey, and Rev. Mike Roper will officiate. Interment will be in Locust Grove Cemetery. Rainer-Carmichael Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

MORRIS, Tidie Stewart, 79, of Roanoke, passed away Thursday, July 7, 1994. She was preceded in death by her husband Cleve Morris. survivors include eight sons, Rev. John Morris, Leroy Morris, William Morris, Samuel Morris, Rev. James Morris, Andrea Hampton, all of Roanoke, Charles Morris, Charlottesville, Thomas Morris, Richmond; five daughters, Gaynell Morris, Patricia Wright, Dorothy Morris, Helen Gray, all of Roanoke, Geraldine Scott, Washington, D. C.; two sisters, Collie Stewart, Mary Spinner, both of Roanoke; 28 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, 12 p.m., at Pilgrim Baptist Church. Rev. Dwight O. Steele will officiate, with interment in Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.

NAPIER, Norman Russell, 85, of Lexington, died Thursday, July 7, 1994, in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born March 24, 1909 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late George L. Napier and Mary Hopper Napier. He was a World War II veteran and was retired from Virginia Power Company after 29 years service. He was a past president of the IBEW and a member of the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church. He wa s an avid hunter and fisherman and a great lover of the outdoors. He was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lee Napier in 1967. A brother and two sisters also preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Annie Ruth Hylton Napier, Lexington; a daughter, Norma Jean Collier, Verona; three sons, Donald E. Napier, Greenville, Dennis R. Napier, Staunton and Larry David Napier, Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Myrtie Hill, Charlotte, N.C., Carrie Perry, Somerset, N.J. and Mable Moore, Wyandotte, Mich.; a brother, Alfred Nealy Napier, Parkersburg, W.Va.; twelve grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, July 10, 1994 at Lomax Funeral Home Chapel, Buena Vista, with Pastor Will Hamric officiating and Pastor John Ward assisting. Family and close friends will meet at the graveside at Green Hill Cemetery, Churchville, Va. for interment. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Lomax Funeral Home or at any time at the residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Lexington Rescue Squad or the Kerrs Creek Fire Department.

She is survived by two daughters, Lou Ada Shelton of Scottsville and Lois Anita Witten of Roanoke; five sons, Marcus Noah Perdue, Jr. of Staunton, Ward Lee Perdue of Orange Park, Fla., Carl A. Perdue of Winston-Salem, N.C., Donald Wayne Perdue of Ashland and Glenn Dean Perdue of Clifton Forge. RICKMAN, Huey Compton, 82, of Roanoke, died Thursday, July 7, 1994. Mr. Rickman was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Steele Rickman; and is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Barbara Rickman of Colonial Beach, Va.; a sister, Agnus Saul of Roanoke; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several neices; and a devoted friend, Jewell L.
