Hook-SupeRx Inc. of Cincinnati said Friday its shareholders have approved the previously announced merger with Revco D.S. Inc. Both companies operate drug stores, including those in Western Virginia.. Hook-SupeRx said it expects the merger will be consummated as soon as possible after the expiration of the waiting period required under the federal Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, which waiting period is scheduled to expire on July 14.
