Bethel-Wray

Robin Denise Wray and Lacy Edwards Bethel Jr. were married May 28, 1994 at the residence of Larry Wray. The outdoor wedding was performed by Pastor Harry Hudson. The reception was held at Cedar Bluff Church of the Brethren.

The maid of honor was Lori Wray, sister of the bride. The bridesmaid was Traci Bethel, sister of the groom. Flowergirl was Anna Marie Dunman, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Lacy Bethel Sr., father of the groom. The usher was Chris Almond, cousin of the bride. The ringbearers were Aric and Ian Palazzola, both cousins of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Larry Wray and Sandra Lovern. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Wray and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dunman. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lacy Bethel Sr.

The newlyweds will live in Boones Mill, Va.

\ Bowles-Orange

Davida Leigh Orange and Mark Irvin Bowles were married on June 25, 1994, in Riverdale Baptist Church, by Rev. Lanier and Rev. Reese.

The newlyweds will live in Blue Ridge, Va.

\ Davis-Ratliff

Teresa Michele Ratliff and Clarence ``Leo'' Davis were united in marriage on July 9, 1994 in Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastor Gunsten was the officiating clergyman. The reception was held at Quality Inn, Salem.

Amber Akers, friend of the bride, served as matron of honor. The bridesmaids were Stephanie Graham, Sherri Umberger, and Melissa Perdue, friends of the bride. Kayli Perdue, friend of the bride, was the flowergirl. Mark Pugh, friend of the groom, served as best man. The ushers were Larry Akers, brother-in-law of the groom; Jackie Wolfe and Mike Trenor, friends of the groom. Seth Kirk, nephew of the groom, was the ringbearer. The guestbook was attended by Lynelle Poff, friend of the bride.

The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Ratliff of Roanoke. She is a graduate of Northside High School and Virginia Western Community College, and is employed by Allstate Insurance Company. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Davis of Salem. He is a graduate of Salem High School and is employed by Anchor Truck Accessories.

Following the wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the newlyweds will reside in Roanoke.

\ Hall-Alderman

Jane Marie Alderman and Mark Wayne Hall were married July 2, 1994, in First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Robert D. Smith officiating. The reception was held at Radisson Patrick Henry Hotel. The matron of honor was Tracy Goad Walter, friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Beth Griffin, Kim Esch, Karen Maurer, friends of the bride, and Linda Alderman, sister-in-law of bride. Jim Wade, nephew-in-law, served as best man. Ushers included Buddy Hall, brother of groom, Wayne Alderman, brother of bride, Gary Huffman and Marty Shrewsbury, friends of the groom. Ringbearers were Bobby Alderman, bride's nephew, and Wesley Hall, groom's nephew. The guestbook was attended by Linda Sloan, sister of the groom. The bride wore a gown of pure silk shantung. Scallops in a row curved the neckline and fans opened the full length sleeves. The fitted bodice was detailed with reembroidered florals in alencon lace accented with pearls and iridescent sequins. The skirt flowed to an extended cathedral length train with a border of reembroidered alencon lace shimmering with pearls and iridescent sequins. Jane's cathedral length veil had a border of matching pearls. She carried a cascading bouquet of white roses with needlepoint ivy and accented with pearls. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Alderman of Blacksburg, Va. She graduated from Rochester High School, Rochester, Michigan, Hillsdale College, Hillsdale, Michigan, with a B.A. in History/Music, and a master's in education from Virginia Tech, Blacksburg, Va. She is employed by Martinsville City Schools, teaching high school Social Studies. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ira E. Hall, Sr., of Vinton, Va. He graduated from William Byrd High Scho ol and attends Virginia Western Community College. He is employed by Roanoke County Fire and Rescue and is co-owner of H&H Home Inspections. The newlyweds will live in Roanoke after a cruise to the southern Caribbean Islands.

\ Hartman-Blevins

Amy Lee Blevins and Daniel E. Hartman II were married July 9, 1994, in Haran Baptist Church with Rev. Horace Light, Jr., officiating. The maid of honor was Tina F. Blevins, sister of bride. The bridesmaids were Melissa H. Gray, sister of groom, Becky L. Prillaman, cousin of bride, and Melissa M. Stone, friend of bride. The flowergirl was Michaelia L. Tyler, cousin of bride. Daniel E. Hartman, father of groom, served as best man. The ushers were Rodney Coleman and Jimmy Plympton, friends of groom, and Anthony Prillaman, cousin of bride. Ringbearer was Brandon Borum, nephew of groom. The programs were handed out by Aaron Hartman and Ashley Hartman. Guestbook attendant was Kelly Crawford. The bride is the daughter of Robert C. and Martha P. Blevins of Roanoke. The groom is the son of Daniel E. and Darlene R. Hartman of Salem. The newlyweds will live in Salem. The matron of honor was Dale Comer Smith, sister of the bride. The bridesmaids were Earnestine Comer Stevens, sister of the bride, June Comer Surface, sister of the bride, and Monica Hodges Boitnott, sister of the groom. Flowergirl was Catherine ``Katie'' Surface, niece of t he bride. The best man was Edgar Thomas Hodges, father of the groom. The ushers were Nelson G. Comer, brother of the bride, William Nelson Comer, nephew of the bride, Dana Willie, cousin of the groom, and Gene C. Comer, bride's escort, brother of the bride. Junior usher was Daniel Surface, nephew of the bride. The candlelighter was Daniel Surface. The guestbook was attended by Marilyn Amerson. The bride wore a white floor length satin gown. She carried a Bible with white flowers.

The bride is a daughter of Minnie Arthur Comer of Bedford and the late Earnest Nelson Comer. She is a graduate of Staunton River High, Moneta, Bedford Co., Va. and Radford University. The bride is employed by Franklin County Public Library, Rocky Mount. The bridegroom, son of Edgar Thomas Hodges and Eunice Maxey Hodges, of Penhook, is a graduate of Franklin County High. He is employed by Tultex, Martinsville plant. The newlyweds will live in Rocky Mount after the wedding trip to Dollywood and Pigeon Forge, Tn.

\ Hollins-Howard

Miss Jeannette Howard and Mr. Todd Hollins were united in marriage on Saturday, July 2, 1994, at Calvary Baptist Church, King, N.C. The Rev. A.C. Hollins, Jr., father of the groom, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Rodger Baker. Mrs. Kim Baker, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Sonja Stone, Mrs. Olia Storz, friends of the bride; and Miss Rebekah Hollins, sister of the groom . Mr. Dale Hollins, brother of the groom, was best man. The groomsmen were Mr. Kevin Thompson, Mr. Charles Atkins, friends of the groom; and Mr. Chris Howard, brother of the bride. Flower girl was Miss Caitlin Stone. Mrs. Hollins is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Terry Howard of Ararat, N.C. She is a graduate of Surry Central High School, Surry County, N.C. Mr. Hollins is a son of the Rev. and Mrs. A.C. Hollins, Jr. of Montvale. He is a graduate of Roanoke Valley Christian Schools, Roanoke. After a southern wedding trip, the couple will live in Winston-Salem, N.C. where both are students at Piedmont Bible College.

\ Honaker-Logan

Andrea Elizabeth Logan and Jody Lee Honaker were married July 9, 1994, in Antrim Chapel at Roanoke College. Pastor Lew Bennett of Salem Baptist Church officiated. The wedding coordinator was Mrs. Patti Watts of Salem, Va. The maid of honor was Miss Nicole Logan, sister of bride. Bridesmaids were Miss Tiffany Logan, sister of bride, Miss Christy Honaker, sister of groom. Flowergirl was Miss Lakin Humphrey of Salem, daughter of Kevin and Michelle Humphrey, friends of the bride's family. Mr. Darrell Robinson, friend of groom, was best man. Ushers were Mr. Keith Robinson and Mr. Lewis Pitts, friends of groom. Ringbearers were Robbie and Steven Dennis of Salem, Va., sons of Michael and Cindy Dennis, friends of the bride's family. Readers were Stephanie Lottie of Atlanta, Ga., and Karen Brooks of Boston, Mass., friends of the bride. Mrs. Wendy Ann Wall, friend of bride, attended the guestbook. The bride wore an original design by S. Kellie Retterer. She carried a mixed bouquet of garden flowers. The bride is the daughter of Ms. Rose Logan of Salem, Va., and Mr. Larry Logan of Beckley, W. Va. She graduated from Salem High School and from Roanoke College. She is employed by Kirkland's in Richmond, Va. The groom is the son of Ms. Linda Honaker of Salem, Va. He graduated from Glenvar High School and attended Virginia Tech. He is employed by Le Vasseur Construction in Richmond, Va. The newlyweds will live in Richmond, Va.

\ Keniston-Williams

Leigh C. Williams and Leslie P. Keniston were married Saturday, April 30, 1994, in a Bahai wedding ceremony at the groom's family home in Roanoke, Va. The reception was held at the bride's family home in Roanoke, Va. The bride is the daughter of James and Anita Williams of Roanoke, Va. She is attending Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. The groom is the son of Dale and Elaine Keniston of Roanoke, Va. He is attending Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. The newlyweds will live in Richmond, Va.

\ Latstetter-Caldwell

Kimberly Shay Caldwell and Brian Scott Latstetter were united in marriage July 9th, 1994 at Cave Spring United Methodist Church in Roanoke. Reverend William C. Logan officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. Caldwell of Roanoke. She recently received a bachelor of science degree in political science from Virginia Tech.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael E. Latstetter of Williamstown, West Virginia. He is a 1993 graduate of Virginia Tech with a bachelor of science degree in industrial engineering. He is currently employed as an engineer for General Motors in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Pamela Caldwell, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Isabel Ruiz de Gamboa of Arlington, Virginia. Kerri Latstetter of Williamstown, West Virginia; and Marcee Hufton of Roanoke, Virginia. The junior bridesmaid was Elizabeth Sweeney of Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Casey Longaberger of Williamstown, West Virginia, served as flower girl.

John Eaton of Williamstown, West Virginia, was best man. Groomsmen were Conn Mallett of Williamstown, West Virginia; Jesse Shiek of Lynchburg, Virginia; and Asif Malik of Blacksburg, Virginia. The ringbearer was Adam Wehrend of Roanoke, Virginia.

The reception was held at Holiday Inn in Salem, Virginia. After a honeymoon in Cancun, the couple will reside in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
