ROANOKE VALLEY ECONOMIC INDICATORS

Roanoke Valley new-car dealers continue to enjoy excellent sales, according to a report issued Monday by the Virginia Automobile Dealers Association. The report, delayed by the association's computer problems, said 931 new cars were registered in the valley in May, a 25.6 percent gain over the 741 cars registered in May 1993. The April registration figure was 1,000 cars.
