The meeting will provide a better understanding of where potential corridors for Appalachian Power Company's 765-kilovolt power line are, and how these corridors could affect residents of Preston Forest, Laurel Ridge, Deerfield, Toms Creek Road, Meadowbrook Road, Mount Tabor Road, Catawba Road, Glade Road, Coal Bank Hollow Road, Newport, Clover Hollow, Dismal Creek, Eggleston, White Gate, Pembroke, Pearisburg, and Narrows.

Citizens have 45 days from July 16 to voice their concerns.
