The Christiansburg Woman's Club recently was awarded with a Certificate of Recognition for the Beautification of Grounds from the Friends of Christiansburg.

The woman's club beautification project is a median on U.S. 460 planted with flowers and shrubs, which was started in 1992 and is maintained by a master gardener.

The Christiansburg Woman's Club was organized in 1935 and contributes to many community needs and organizations.
