CAMDEN, Elizabeth Katherine, 73, of Lexington, and widow of Harry G. Camden, Sr., died Sunday, July 31, 1994, in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born on February 19, 1921, in Clifton Forge, a daughter of the late James C. Robinson and Mattie Newcomer Robinson. Mrs. Camden was a member of the Peoples Baptist Church of Buena Vista. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Camden was preceded in death by two grandsons, Gregory Alan Camden and David Michael Camden. Survivors include three sons, Harry G. ""Pete"" Camden, Jr. and Franklin D. ""Skipper"" Camden, both of Lexington; Shannon S. ""Bow"" Camden, Buena Vista; five daughters, Mrs. Beverley A. Slagle, Buena Vista; Mrs. Mattie M. Ruley, Mrs. Shelby J. Camden, Mrs. Bonnie S. Rowsey, all of Lexington; Mrs. Patricia A. Fischer, Clifton Forge; one sister, Mrs. Edith V. Reid, Lexington; one special grandson, Christopher R. Rowsey, Lexington; 35 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted in the Williams Funeral Service Chapel, Lexington at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 1994, with the Rev. Robert M. Leonard and Chaplin Robert K. Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Stonewall Jackson Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 1994, at the Williams Funeral Service, Lexington and other times at the residence.

HEDGE, Thomas Jefferson, 71, of Snowville, died Monday afternoon, August 1, 1994, at his home. He had prostate bone cancer. He was born in Montgomery County on March 20, 1923 and was the son of the late Irvin Hedge and Doris Simpkins Hedge. Mr. Hedge was preceded in death by a step-mother, Ruby Dickerson Hedge, Pulaski, a sister, Hilda Hedge Brown, Gambrills, Md., and a brother, Daniel W. Hedge, Sophie, WV. He was a retired employee of Burlington Industries Klopman Mills Division of Dublin, where he worked for 37 years. Mr. Hedge was a veteran of World War II having served in the U. S. Navy as an Armed Guard. He was on the board of directors for the American Cancer Society for 20 years. Mr. Hedge was a member of the Cecil's Chapel United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Marie Dishon Hedge, Snowville; a daughter, Lydia H. Bell, Hopewell; four sons, John J. Hedge, Pulaski, Douglas L. Hedge, Pulaski, Donald A. Hedge, Pulaski, James J. Hedge, Snowville; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Mabel Hedge McPeak, Snowville; two brothers, Jesse J. Hedge, Radford, Luther A. Hedge, Radford; a half-sister, Helen Hedge Biggs, Pulaski; three half-brothers, Gene Hedge, Pulaski, Frank Hedge, Pulaski, Cecil Hedge, Snowville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. from the Stevens Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Wilson Newman officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens Mausoleum, Dublin. HOLLAND, G. David, 59, of Manalapan, N.J., died Saturday, July 30, 1994, in a Holmdel, N.J. hospital. Born in Bedford County, March 11, 1935, he was a son of the late Earl Davis Holland and Lena May Porter Holland. He had owned and operated Holland Marble Co. in Manalapan, N. J. for the past 12 years. He earned a B.A. degree in Electrical Engineering from Kansas State and served four years in the U.S. Navy and one year in the U.S. Marines. Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Papowitz Holland; one son, Gregg Holland, Manalapan, N.J.; one daughter, Kim Bepirstis, Matawan, N.J.; three stepsons, Gregg Gorrin, Berkley, Calif., Brian Gorrin, Eugene, Ore., Jeffrey Gorrin, Matawan, N.J.; a stepdaughter, Sherry Gorrin, Eugene, Ore. Also surviving are one sister, Myrtle Burley, Moneta; stepsister, Pam Duggins, North Carolina; four stepg randchildren. Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Virginia Memorial Park in Forest with the Rev. D. Glen Langston officiating. JARRETT, Stuart Saunders, 79, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, July 31, 1994 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Born in Greenbriar County, W.Va., on August 4, 1914, he was the son of the late James Hickman Jarrett and Lillian McClung Jarrett. He was an employee at Modine Mfg. Co., for nine and one half years and the United States Forest Service for twelve years. He is survived by his wife, Frances Smith Jarrett of Buena Vista; daughter and special son-in-law, Cindy and Larry Keyes, Buena Vista; a beloved granddaughter, Jodie Keyes, Buena Vista; two brothers, Joseph Jarrett, Richlands, W.Va., and Floyd Jarrett, Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 1994 at Lomax Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. David Bain officiating. KING, Herman Wimmer, 84, of Christiansburg, died Monday morning, August 1, 1994, in a Shawsville nursing home. He is surivived by one son and daughter-in-law, William M. and Ellen King, Christiansburg; two grandsons and their wives, William M., II and Carolyn King, David Alan and Katonya King; a great grandchild, Will King; two brothers, Junior King, Raymond King, both of Christiansburg; and one sister, Maude K. She was the widow of Frederick Glen Torley and was a member of the Bethesda Presbyterian Church in Rockbridge Baths. Surviving is a son, Richard C. Torley, Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
