The fair will be held from Aug. 17-20 at the fairgrounds here.
Aside from the two new features, the event will be much the same as in former years, said Janet Myers, secretary of the fair association.
It will include a carnival that opens each night at 8, horticultural exhibits that open for public viewing all day on the last three days of the event and special events each day.
The womanless pageant, featuring men masquerading as women, will be on Thursday night.
The demolition derby, which was a part of the fair in former years, will be on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1.
Other features will include the annual Craig County beauty pageant on opening night at 8; a womanless wedding on Friday night; and a wood chopping and chain saw contest on Saturday morning.
Myers said the fair is being held earlier this year because this was the only date a carnival was available. The carnival will again be provided by Colonial Shows of Williamsburg.
Admission on Wednesday through Friday will be $2 for adults and $1 for those under age 12. On Saturday, admission will be $5 for adults and $2 for those aged 12 and younger.
The fair began about 1946 and has been an annual event in Craig since.
