Grand opening
CHRISTIANSBURG - The grand opening of the new Heironimus store in Christiansburg on Saturday will start off at 8 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Store officials and Christiansburg mayor Harold Linkous will participate in the ceremony.
Taurus raffle
CHRISTIANSBURG - The Christiansburg-Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce will draw the winning ticket in the raffle of a 1987 Ford Taurus donated by Shelor Automotive Shopping Center and Homer Cox Ford on Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Wilderness Trail Festival in downtown Christiansburg.
Tickets will be on sale at the chamber office until the drawing date.
