Church schools

ROANOKE CATHOLIC SCHOOL: College preparatory and Christian education for grades pre-kindergarten through 12. Starts Aug. 24. Tuition: kindergarten through third grade, $2,155 for parishioners, $2,690 for non-parishioners; grades four through seven, $2,255 for parishioners, $2,820 for non-parishioners; grades eight through 12, $2,850 for parishioners, $3,445 for non-parishioners. GREENVALE NURSERY SCHOOL: State-licensed; staff of 57 includes two speech therapists, two registered nurses and a volunteer pediatrician. Accepts ages 6 weeks to 13 years; 270 full-time children. Rates are based on ability to pay; $0-$99 under 2 years of age, $0-$75 ages 2-13. Sick child care included. Transportation available.
