Roanoke's Net-Hackers women's 3.5 team defeated Washington 4-1, but failed to win the championship because it had two losses.
The team got wins from Pam Leaberry at No. 1 singles and Dezi Taylor and Bettina Altizer at No. 1 doubles. Lee Bond-Sevingy and Betty Branch won at No. 2 doubles and Becky Dickerson and Edna Brubaker won at No. 3 doubles.
