MAN FOUND IN CAR APPARENT SUICIDE

The man found dead in his car Sunday on the Bedford County section of the Blue Ridge Parkway apparently committed suicide.

Kevin Wayne St.Clair, 24, of Troutville died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to Rader Funeral Home.

Gene Parker of the National Park Service said Bedford County police and parkway rangers found St.Clair when they responded around 3 p.m. to a call from someone who saw tire tracks extending over an embankment on the parkway just north of Virginia 43. They found St.Clair in the car, shot in the head, and a gun.
