Answers

1. Though some people might argue that other films in the big-screen ``Trek'' series seem longer, the second-longest adventure was ``Trek IV: The Voyage Home'' (1986). It clocked in at 119 minutes.

2. The stardate was 5784.0; the original airdate was Nov. 22, 1968.

3. The episode was titled ``Manhunt.''

4. Both have been referred to as ``Old Man'' by Avery Brooks.

As Hawk in ``A Man Called Hawk,'' Brooks called Gunn's character ``Old Man.'' (The character was identified that way in the show's credits.)

As Sisko on ``DS9,'' Brooks sometimes refers to Dax (Terry Farrell) as ``Old Man'' because he was friends with Jadzia's previous Trill identity, Curzon Dax. (Thanks to Harry J. Krenz of Plainfield, Ind., for this question.)

5. Molly was named after ``DS9'' producer Rick Berman's daughter Molly, as well as Molly Rennie, a former ``Next Gen'' staff member.

6. She was married three times - and she remained friendly with all three men after the demise of the marriages.

7. Rop'ngor is a disease, not unlike human measles, that generally afflicts Klingon children. However, in the ``Next Gen'' episode ``Up the Long Ladder,'' it afflicted a much-embarrassed Worf (Michael Dorn).

8. ``Star Trek: The Motion Picture'' was rated G, making it acceptable for General Audiences.

9. Those credits belong to ``DS9'' star Nana Visitor.

10. Among the Constitution-class starships seen on ``Trek''-classic and in the ``Trek'' films were the U.S.S. Constellation, Defiant, Eagle, Enterprise (up to Enterprise-A), Farragut, Hood, Intrepid, Potemkin, Republic and Yorktown. (Thanks to Diane Baca of Los Angeles.)

11. Original-series art director Matt Jefferies designed the model.

The systems-access crawlways seen on Federation starships are called ``Jefferies tubes'' in tribute to Jefferies.

12. They are Walter Koenig (Sept. 14) and Rosalind Chao (Sept. 23).
