Because of a reporter's error, a story Wednesday about the 246th Coast Artillery had the locations for Forts Monroe and Story at Hampton Roads reversed. Fort Story is on Cape Henry and Fort Monroe is on Old Point Comfort.

\ Because incorrect information was sent to the newspaper, a ticket price for the Sept. 19 Glenn Miller Orchestra show was incorrect in Friday's calendar of events. Tickets for the concert, buffet, cash bar and dance area are $46.

\ Roanoke County Police Capt. Ray Lavinder says he was misinterpreted in a story Wednesday about Frank E. Pennington Jr., who has been charged with killing Bonnie Sue Mullins. Lavinder said he has no knowledge of whether Pennington and Mullins were involved in the Roanoke Valley drug trade.

\ Because of a photographer's error, former Ms. Chesapeake Senior Citizen Naomi Burke was not identified in a photo of Ms. Virginia Senior Citizen contestants Friday. Burke was seated in the back row, second from the right.
