Ringling Bros. sues over `Greatest' ad

LOS ANGELES - Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus says its slogan, ``The Greatest Show on Earth,'' is nothing to clown around about.

The circus filed a copyright infringement lawsuit Friday against Bargain Circus, a variety store that advertises ``The Greatest Bargains on Earth.''

Majid Mossanen, vice president of Bargain Circus, said he doesn't intend to stop using the slogan: ``We are not in competition with these people, and I can't see how `The Greatest Bargains on Earth' should bother their business.''
