COUNCILMAN HOSPITALIZED

City Councilman Delvis ``Mac'' McCadden was admitted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital on Monday after experiencing heart palpitations.

McCadden, a Republican elected to council in 1992, was resting comfortably in the hospital Tuesday awaiting heart function tests.

He said he expects to leave Roanoke Memorial late today or Thursday morning following the tests. McCadden had to cancel a planned appearance at the opening of a new city park on Salem Turnpike today because of his hospitalization.
