The drawing is set for Dec. 15. The Empty Stocking Fund raises money for distribution through the Department of Social Services to provide toys, clothing and food for needy families during the holidays.

14-K, WKEX (1430 AM) reprises the International Bluegrass Music Awards show broadcast today, 10 a.m.-noon. The program, which features top bluegrass talent, originally was broadcast from Owensboro, Ky., on Sept. 22.
The great frequency swap and power increase involving Blacksburg's Rock 105, WVVV (104.9 FM) and Roanoke's DJ 105, WRDJ (105.3 FM) should happen by the end of this year or early next year, a station spokesman said. Both stations are poised to increase power to 25,000 watts. Rock 105 is still researching a possible change of music format.
Virginia Tech's student-run WUVT (90.7 FM) airs "The Bayou Breakdown," a zydeco music program, with host Audrey Anne Sukacz, Sundays, 8-10 p.m. Requests are welcome at 231-9888 (WUVT).
