Denean Jessup scored 19 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead Carroll County to a 76-39 non-district victory on Monday in a girls' high school basketball game.

Carroll County (9-5) forced 19 first-half turnovers by Grayson (1-7) and 24 for the game. India Easter had five steals for the Cavaliers.

Jennifer Watkins added 12 points for Carroll County. Talisha Clontz had 11, and Bethany Hill scored 10.

Lindsey Carico led the Blue Devils with 11 points.

Shawsville 39

SHAWSVILLE - Bonnie Boardwine scored 23 points and sank 7 of 10 free throws as the Rockets downed the Shawnees in a foul-plagued non-district game.

Thirty fouls were called against Shawsville (5-5) and 21 against Craig County. The teams took a total of 47 free throws.

Chrissy Robertson had 19 points for Craig County.

Brandy Alexander scored 10 to lead the Shawnees.
