CHILD-CARE CONFERENCE OCT. 22

The Virginia Cooperative Extension will sponsor a conference for family- and center-based child care providers Saturday, Oct. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at the Smyth Education Center.

The event, partially funded by the Virginia Council on Child Day Care & Early Childhood Programs, will feature well known educator Joanne Wilson speaking on self esteem and children.

Participants must preregister by by Oct. 13.
