STEVE KANALY JOINS 'ALL MY CHILDREN'

``All My Children'' has snared Steve Kanaly for the role of Seabone Hunkle. Viewers of the prime time show ``Dallas'' will remember Kanaly from his long-time role of Ray Krebs.

On ``AMC,'' Seabone will make a surprise arrival in Pine Valley that is sure to cause more than a little trouble for his children, Dixie Martin (played by Cady McClain) and Del Henry (Winsor Harmon). (The half-siblings share the same father and different mothers.) Just what Seabone will have up his sleeve has not been revealed, but his arrival will no doubt have something to do with his wealthy former brother-in-law, Palmer Cortlandt (James Mitchell), who dislikes Seabone. Seabone was married to Palmer's sister, fathered Dixie, then dumped mother and daughter to spend the rest of his life with Del's mother, albeit without the benefit of a divorce from Dixie's mom. Kanaly begins airing Oct. 14.
