WOMAN FOUND DEAD IN CRAIG; HUSBAND HELD

The husband of a 42-year-old woman was charged with first-degree murder late Thursday after state police found the remains of her body in the Jefferson National Forest in Craig County.

Richard Grigsby is charged with the murder of his wife, Dolly Rose Grigsby, according to state police. His brother, Ken Grigsby, is charged with being an accessory before the crime, and Mickey Breeding is charged with being an accessory after the crime.

Dolly Grigsby of Buchanan County was reported missing July 19 by her husband in Mercer County, W.Va. Her disappearance launched a multijurisdictional investigation that included law-enforcement agents from Buchanan, Craig and Dickenson counties and West Virginia state police.

An autopsy has not been completed.

State police said Grigsby, his brother and Breeding, who are from Buchanan County, will be jailed in Craig County.
