BALANCED LIBERTY DOWNS BROOKVILLE

Sue Cowlbeck scored 14 points and grabbed 17 rebounds Thursday to lead a balanced Liberty attack past Brookville 60-53 in a Seminole District girls' basketball game.

The Minettes (8-3, 8-3) got 13 points from Shannon Jurkus and 10 each from Stephanie Biggs and Charity Bryant. Amy Baxter dished out 10 assists.
