Coulling has written a biography of Gen. Robert E. Lee's daughters, ``The Lee Girls,'' and ``Margaret Junkin Preston: A Biography,'' published in May, 1993.

``Sineater,'' a first novel by Massie, was the winner of the 1993 Bram Stoker Award. She has also published numerous horror and dark fantasy stories in magazines and anthologies and is working on two novels and a novella.

Tickets are $10 and are available at Bookstack in Staunton or by calling 886-0162 or 886-1613 after 6 p.m.
