Because of unclear information given to the newspaper, the repertoire for the Roanoke Symphony's opening concert on Monday evening was incorrect in Friday's Tipoff column. On the play list: "The Star-Spangled Banner"; Niccolo Paganini's Violin Concerto; Victoria Bond's "Thinking Like a Mountain"; and Jean Sibelius' Symphony No. 2, Opus 43, D Major.

\ Because of an editorial assistant's error, the comedian Gallagher was listed as appearing with the Wizard of Odd and Chris Powell in Friday's Calendar of Events. He will appear in a solo performance.

\ Because incorrect information was given to the newspaper, the Friday Calendar of Events listed a Monsters and Mavericks Motorsports Thrill Show scheduled for today at the Roanoke Civic Center. The event is not taking place.
